Welcome to the about page for the Kernel archives. This is a series of pages, spanning the years of 1995-2001, or the entire period that the kernel has existed online. There are some missing issues and we are continually working to ensure that most of the content is available online. If there is a specific issue you are searching for, it should be available in the offices on print as well.

Technical -

The archives are hosted locally on campus, in the Center for Computational Sciences located in McVey Hall. It is a Sun Enterprise server, which is used by the other departments in Journalism as well. The current sysadmin is Vikram Gazula. We thank them for providing an air-conditioned room for the box, making sure that it is up, and putting up with a bunch of Mac users.
