I am curious as to when the campus police are going to start handing out tickets to pedestrians that are blocking the bike lanes.I have been following the new guidelines, only to find that I have had more trouble getting from place to place this year than I ever have before.
Just today I had to stop for a car that was parked in the lane, wait for people to cross the lane, and of course there were a multitude of individuals who were walking along the bicycle lanes as if they were there for their own personal guidance.
I was not too disturbed when pedestrians asked for bicycle regulations, there are a few riders that ruin things for the conscientious majority.
However, now that the walkers have had their way, isn't it time that these same individuals follow the rules themselves?
If cyclists can stay in the lines, can't walkers stay out of them?
